The Palmetto Trail is South Carolina's cross-state trail for hiking, biking, cycling, backpacking, camping and more. The Town of Santee is fortunate to have two of the trailheads in our vicinity. This trail is nationally and regionally recognized as rich in cultural heritage, beautiful sights, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
